SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE ADVOCATES FELLOWSHIP (SAAF)
This is a 3 months long (April – June 2024) fellowship program that will rigorously train and equip selected youths via lectures, tasks, capstone projects etc. with in-depth knowledge of sustainable agriculture concepts and advocacy skills with an aim of deploying them to farm communities and farmer clusters to carry out continued sensitization to rural farmers within their communities. The project objective is to raise local networks of young people who will consistently advocate for adoption of sustainable agricultural practices within their community. They will be grassroots sensitization and advocacy agents for sustainable agriculture. The project will have the following components
- Fellowship course training
- Fellowship capstone project
- Structuring of the Sustainable Agriculture Advocates City hub (SAACH)
